Green Bean Pasta

The green beans I got from my mom’s garden looked wonderful and I knew I needed to make them into something delicious.  I was looking around and found this recipe and knew it was what I wanted to try out!  It requires few ingredients and is a nice light summer meal!


1 Cup Whole Wheat Penne Pasta

1/2 Lb Fresh Green Beans (Cut in Half)

1 Medium Tomato (Chopped)

1/4 Cup Italian Dressing

1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese


1. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the box.  During the last two minutes of cooking the pasta add in the green beans.

2. Drain water from beans and pasta and cool with cold water.  Add to medium or large serving bowl.

3. Add the tomato pieces, Italian dressing, and parmesan cheese to pasta and beans.  Toss.

4. Serve and Enjoy!
